This Daihatsu Hijet S85 1.3L was manufactured under licence by Piaggio in Italy, making it a rare Italian-built mid-engined, rear-wheel drive Japanese classic. Or, Japanese Kei packaging, finished with unmistakable British flair. It even has its own Instagram.

Purchased by Cooler King in 2024, this Hijet has since been transformed with a long list of upgrades. It features an engine replacement, revised air intake and exhaust modifications, Jaguar leather interior in cinnamon and black, pearl green paintwork, and of course, its standout gullwing doors.

Built to turn heads and ready to work, show, or promote your brand, this van is being sold with a custom painted matching Cooler Kub 750S on the back. It sounds great too!

How the Option to Purchase Works: The First Option Holder has the exclusive right to purchase the Cool Hijet until 5:00 pm on 1 September 2026. If they decide not to proceed, £250 of the £500 reservation fee will be refunded and the opportunity will pass to the Second Option Holder, then the Third Option Holder if required. Second and Third Option fees are fully refundable if a higher-priority buyer purchases the van or the option holder changes their mind. If you buy the Cool Hijet, your reservation fee is deducted from the purchase price.
