The top speed is increased of course, but more importantly the 52v system and 1500w motor increases torque and flattens hills. We've also added two significant upgrades with a removeable top battery in the 'tank' and just like the Cooler Kub a second removeable in the lower frame.

Well, what can I say? It has arrived, my Cooler King 1500 Black Edition (or "HILTS" as I have named her!)
Well worth the wait... WELL WORTH! This is a combination of Beauty AND the Beast. Once you get a hang of the controls (no man likes to read instructions... thank goodness for women-folk eh?) this is an absolute joy to ride. From the "assist" capability to the downright POWER setting, this most comfortable yoke lifts you and carries you like a winged chariot. The power (it could easily pull a rotund fella like meself up the steep side of Everest, nay bahr), the speed (Hilts would have easily made that second jump over the barbed wire... with room to spare!), the comfort (like a big, fast sofa) and the looks (to die for!) There's nowt I can criticise about this... sorry. I love it... I mean "her". Cannae wait for the spring/ summer to test out the range capability, but I forsee many many miles of happy riding and many hours peeling dead flies off my wide grinning teeth!
My advice...GET ONE... join the madness! I got mine on the "Psycho to work scheme"... magnificent!! Get it quick afore they scrap the scheme... too good an opportunity to miss... set me up for retirement (if the Boss ever lets me... she loves "Hilts" too !)
Keep an eye out for a stupidly smiling eejit on the country roads around County Down.
Oh yeah, and the folk at Cooler King are brilliant... they have some patience, what with all my stupid questions and all...
